Hi, I’m Ali! I’m a multi-faceted graphic and fashion design professional. I've been building a career in the design industry since 2009, but I’ve been a creative soul for as long as I can remember. My background began in the fashion industry at the UC DAAP program, but has branched off into many different facets of design including: graphic design, branding, logo design, product design, packaging design, pre-press, digital printing, marketing, web design, social media content creation, and entrepreneurial ventures.

I am the Founder & Owner of my small business called Wreck’d Collective. You’ll find a link to this website in my menu tab above. Wreck’d Collective is an upcycled clothing business. We create unique, one-of-kind upcycled clothing for every body. Made for the creatives of the world who don’t follow the traditional path and instead CREATE their own path. Every item we create is 1-of-1 . We utilize bleach splatter, fabric paint, spray paint, patched graphics, hand painted graphics and more! 

With over 15 years experience in the design industry with a wide range of clients, I have an in-depth and well-rounded knowledge of branding and graphic design that I can use to elevate any brand, but my passion lies in the fashion/beauty industry. My experience includes being able to create visually compelling and innovative designs for branding, marketing campaigns, social media content, web assets, email marketing, and educational pieces. I’m also experienced with photography including image editing and retouching. I am well versed in typography, color theory, composition and following brand guidelines to maintain visual consistency. I am highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop

I am known for being able to deliver high-quality designs under tight deadlines; this is my bread and butter. With the vast amount of experience I’ve had working in various roles throughout my design career, I’ve learned to quickly adapt to new technologies, systems and ways of working. I am ambidextrous when it comes to software on a MAC or PC.

While at Minuteman Press, I was interacting with customers on a daily basis in addition to designing, printing and managing a team. This position really honed my ability to be highly organized with a high attention to detail in order to juggle dozens of customer jobs in different stages of production in a single day. I assisted in managing external vendors for client projects that couldn’t be produced in-house. I also designed and created all in-house marketing materials for our own print and digital marketing efforts while adhering to the Minuteman Press brand guidelines. These marketing initiatives included designing posters, banners, window clings, vehicle wraps, feather flags, table clothes, banner stands, pens, notebooks, direct mailers, and more!
